Getting Wooden Packaging Right For You Since 1966...

...Keeping Your Products Safe and Saving You Money

‘Getting it right’ for you is something that Rowlinson Packaging considers to be critical in keeping your products safe and secure in the most cost effective way possible.

And, you’ll be pleased to know that since 1966, when the wooden packaging division of Rowlinson Group was founded, the belief in Total Quality Management has been strong.

Our Wardle Site

In fact, we put so much emphasis on quality and client service that our 2008/09 service level KPI's were:

  • Delivery on time: 99.8%
  • Non conformance: Less than 1 per 20,000

You can follow our history of investment and reinvestment in people and process through the years.

We became the first company in the industry to achieve the Quality Award ISO 9001 in 1989, the first again in 1997 to achieve ‘Investors In People (IIP)’ and yet another first in 2002 with our attainment of Environmental Standard ISO 14001.

We’ve also been using wood from sustainable sources for years before it became ‘the thing to do’.

It isn’t arrogance that has driven us on to greater and better things but a true desire to constantly be at the forefront of customer satisfaction. By having the systems, the processes and the latest technology we can, hand on heart, tell you that we will do everything possible to deliver exactly what you need, when you need it and at the appropriate and fair price.

This is the same ethos that has been applied since The Rowlinson Group was formed in the 1920’s and is as much a feature of our offering today as it was back then, perhaps even more so.

Only now, of course, the group comprises four subsidiary companies, which include Rowlinson Timber, Baltic Connexions and Rowlinson Garden Products and of course Rowlinson Packaging.

With a group turnover of approximately £65 million and a workforce of more than 500 employees we do feel proud because it shows that we are delivering exactly what you, our customer, wants and needs … but we’ll never get too big to listen.

So if you have any suggestions, feedback or comments we’d be very pleased to hear them. You can call us on 01829 260571 or, alternatively, you can send us your comments by email
