In the last couple of years Rowlinson Packaging has grown at an astonishing rate. We are currently in a position where we have consolidated our place as the largest timber case provider in the UK and are now nearly four times larger than our nearest competitor.
As a result of requests from our customers and so that we continue our growth, we have decided to use our renowned high levels of customer service and expand into packaging commodity management.
Rowlinson Packaging was founded in 1968 and strongly believes in the importance of using a Total Quality Management approach. We were one of the first in our industry to achieve the Quality award ISO 9000 in 1989, then in 1997 were first to achieve 'Investors in People' (IIP), and in February 2002 we achieved another first in attaining the Environmental Standard ISO 14001. This progressive self-improving culture has kept us at the forefront of the packaging industry.
The Rowlinson Group was formed in the 1920s and comprises 11 subsidiary companies, including Rowlinson Packaging, Rowlinson Timber and Rowlinson Garden Products. The Group has an annual turnover of approx £65 million and more than 500 employees.
